Terms and Conditions
Lesson Format
Sessions are delivered either online via Zoom or in person in London.
Online Sessions
A Zoom link will be sent a few minutes before your lesson.
Please ensure you join your session from a quiet, private environment where you are able to focus without interruption. The space should be suitable for singing and allow us to work effectively throughout the session.
Please also ensure you have:
- A stable internet connection
- Water
- Any backing tracks ready on a separate device
For the best audio quality, please enable "Original Sound for Musicians" in your Zoom settings.
If the coaching environment is not suitable for the session to be delivered effectively (including, but not limited to, excessive background noise, repeated interruptions, poor internet connection, or joining from an unsuitable location), I reserve the right to end or cancel the session at my discretion. In these circumstances, the session will remain chargeable and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
In-Person Sessions
The studio address will be provided upon booking.
Please note there is no waiting area, so I kindly ask that you arrive on time and do not arrive early.
I have a very friendly dog who may greet you upon arrival and departure. If you are uncomfortable around dohs, please let me know ahead of our session so I can put her away.
Health and Voice Care
My coaching focuses on healthy vocal technique and long-term vocal development.
You are responsible for informing me of any vocal strain, illness or medical conditions that may affect your voice before your session.
Illness
If you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness (including, but not limited to, fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, flu-like symptoms or any illness that could reasonably be passed on to others), please do not attend an in-person session.
If you are well enough to do so, your session may be moved online where possible.
If a client attends an in-person session whilst visibly unwell or displaying symptoms of a contagious illness, I reserve the right to end or cancel the session at my discretion. In these circumstances, the session will remain chargeable and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
Booking and Payment
Initial Consultation: £95 (one-off session)
Core Coaching: £195 per month
Full Coaching: £375 per month
All coaching consultations and plans are paid in advance.
Monthly coaching is delivered via an ongoing subscription.
Missed sessions cannot be carried over to future months. Where at least 48 hours' notice is given, sessions may be rescheduled within the same billing month where possible.
Booking Responsibility
For clients on Core or Full Coaching whose schedules don't allow for a fixed weekly slot at the same day/time, this is completely fine - sessions can instead be arranged on a monthly basis. In these cases, I will reach out during the third week of each month with availability for the following month, and clients are asked to confirm their sessions before the end of the current month.
If sessions are not confirmed by this point and availability is subsequently booked by other clients, or a session is simply forgotten or not arranged, this remains the client's responsibility.
In these circumstances, sessions will not be refunded, rescheduled, or carried over.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Sessions cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will be charged in full.
This policy applies to all sessions, including consultations and monthly coaching sessions.
Commitment and Notice Period
Initial Consultations
Initial consultations are one-off sessions. There is no obligation to continue coaching afterwards.
Ongoing Coaching
Should you choose to continue, coaching requires a minimum commitment of two months to allow sufficient time for meaningful vocal development.
After the initial two-month commitment, coaching may be cancelled by providing one month's written notice before your next billing date.
This ensures continuity of progress and protects your reserved weekly session.
Coaching is a collaborative process. While attendance at sessions is important, meaningful progress also depends on consistent practice between sessions and engagement with any exercises or feedback provided.
I reserve the right to discontinue coaching where I believe the coaching relationship is no longer the right fit. In these circumstances, any remaining prepaid sessions will be honoured.
Client Conduct
To ensure a productive and professional coaching environment, I ask that all clients attend sessions ready to fully participate.
This includes:
- Arriving on time.
- Attending sessions sober and free from the effects of alcohol or recreational drugs.
- Treating the coaching relationship with mutual respect and professionalism.
- Joining sessions from an environment that allows coaching to take place effectively.
If a client's conduct or circumstances prevent the session from being delivered professionally or safely, I reserve the right to end or cancel the session at my discretion. In these circumstances, the session will remain chargeable and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
Studio Etiquette (In-Person)
Please arrive on time for your session. Due to back-to-back scheduling, early arrival cannot be accommodated.
I kindly ask that clients respect the studio environment and neighbouring sessions.
Please note I have a friendly studio dog who may greet you on arrival or departure. She is very sociable and used to clients, but she will not be present during your session. If you have any concerns around dogs, please let me know in advance.
By booking a consultation or coaching subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
